Mongolian and African Festival

Mongolian and African Festival

2nd April 2011

WAIT UK was one of four organizations to participate in this event in Central London which was hosted by the World Culture Association! The aim of the festival was to raise money to support the work of Moncharity in Mongolia as well as that of IRFF UK’s school – Destiny Junior – in Uganda.

Amidst a wonderful variety of acts, WAIT UK performed their new girls dance earlier in the programme, followed by the boys Break Dance just before the Interval! Young WAIT member, Theo Kabeya sang “Stand By Me” unaccompanied at the beginning of the 2nd half;then the WAIT girls performed “Respect” prior to the Raffle draw, which was an exciting event in itself.

                   003           004
The Finale was a very spirited “Give Them Hope” song performed by World Express and the WAIT team – a fitting end to a fundraising event supporting two great causes, and enjoyed by everyone.
